Ways to reduce constipation

There are many thoughts on how to relieve constipation, but one of the simplest and most effective ways is to increase your daily intake of dietary fibre. Dietary fibre provides bulk to stools and helps to move food through the digestive system. This is because fibre passes through the system undigested.

Food intake:

Your daily intake of food is as much responsible for your digestive health as your overall lifestyle and physical wellbeing. There are a number of foods that help constipation, mostly foods which are high in fibre.


High fibre foods include the following:
