SENSORY ‘SNACKOUT BOOTH’ POPS UP IN LONDON


Created by Pringles and Burger King® UK, the immersive pop-up heightens taste by dialing down distraction

London, UK, 6th May 2026 - A first-of-its-kind ‘Snackout Booth’ has landed in London today, inviting curious snackers to experience flavour in a whole new way.

Created in collaboration between two food icons - Pringles and Burger King - the unique pop up is open today until 4pm at Angel Central, 21 Parkfield St, London N1 0PS.

Taking taste to the next level, the soundproof booth places guests in a controlled sensory environment that minimises external distractions and introduces focused visual cues, helping visitors to engage more deeply with flavour.

Once inside, guests find themselves sitting in a darkened, noise-controlled space and guided through a curated audio-visual journey while trying out the new Pringles x Burger King limited-edition flavours.

The concept is rooted in insight from food scientist Charles Spence that flavour is shaped not just by taste, but by the interplay of all other senses.

While eating in complete darkness can dull flavour perception, reducing auditory input and distractions can actually enhance it.

With the perfect snacking conditions in place, guests are taken on an intricate flavour journey expertly constructed by the Pringles innovation team.

With the Chicken Royale Flavour, it begins with a gentle, savoury introduction as notes of mayonnaise and sweet bun come through, before quickly deepening into a more indulgent profile driven by layers of chicken and fresh lettuce.

As the taste experience unfolds, the flavour peaks in a full-bodied moment of savoury intensity, before gradually tapering off with a subtle return of sweetness from the bun.

By isolating distractions and guiding guests through a unique journey of taste, the booth allows each layer of flavour to reveal itself in sequence, turning a familiar taste into something far more immersive and unexpected.

The pop up has been launched to celebrate the King of Burgers and the King of Snacks joining forces to create two limited edition flavour Pringles that encapsulate all the classic Burger King elements that make up two of their most iconic burgers.
