Krunchy Mallow Bars

Method

  1.  Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until everything's completely melted, then remove from the heat.
  2.  Next add the Rice Krispies and stir until well coated.
  3.  Using a buttered spatula, press the mixture evenly into a 13" x 9" x 2" greased baking tray.
  4.  Allow to cool and cut into 2" squares. Yummy!

Microwave directions

Heat the butter and marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 3 minutes. After 2 minutes, stir the mixture until it's smooth. Then simply follow steps 2-4 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.

What you need...

  • 45g butter or margarine
  • 300g (about 40) regular marshmallows
  • 200g miniature marshmallows
  • 180g Kellogg's Rice Krispies
