Method

  1.  Put the butter in a large saucepan and melt over a low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until the mixture is completely melted, then remove from the heat.
  2.  Next add the Rice Krispies, stirring until well coated.
  3.  Using a buttered spatula, press the mixture into a 13" x 9" x 2" greased baking tray – but make sure you leave an uneven surface. Arrange gummy worms on top and sprinkle with digestive crumbs, lightly pressing into the mixture, to create an earth-like effect.
  4.  Cut into 2" squares and enjoy!

Microwave directions

Heat the butter and in a microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 3 minutes. After 2 minutes, stir the mixture until it's smooth. Then simply follow steps 2-4 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.

What you need...

  • 45g butter or margarine
  • 300g (about 40) marshmallows
  • 180g Kellogg's Rice Krispies
  • 1 pack (about 12) gummy worms
  • 6 chocolate digestives, finely crushed
