Method

  1.  Put the butter in a large saucepan and melt over a low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until the mixture is completely melted, then remove from the heat.
  2.  Next add the Rice Krispies, stirring until well coated.
  3.  Divide the warm cereal mixture into portions of around 50g and roll each one into a ball.
  4.  Then you can decorate with sweets to make your Halloween Cat eyes, nose, mouth, ears and whiskers.

Microwave directions

Heat the butter and in a microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 3 minutes. After 2 minutes, stir the mixture until it's smooth. Then simply follow steps 2-4 above. Microwave cooking times may vary.

What you need...

  • 45g butter or margarine
  • 300g (about 40) marshmallows
  • 180g Kellogg's Rice Krispies
  • Sweets, jelly beans, and/or black string licorice
