We’re Reducing Salt
Breakfast cereals are a good lower salt choice. But, we all know we need to be eating less salt and that’s why we’ve been taking it out of our food for the past 12 years.
We’re now going to go further by reducing the amount of salt in Kellogg’s Rice Krispies and Kellogg’s Corn Flakes by 30 percent.
Because Kellogg’s Rice Krispies and Kellogg’s Corn Flakes are the basis for many of our popular cereals and snacks such as Crunchy Nut, Frosties, Coco Pops, Ricicles and Rice Krispies Squares, the amount of salt in these is going down too.
And, we’re doing this without changing the taste of the food we know you love.
The new recipe Kellogg’s Rice Krispies (and Rice Krispies based products) are already in stores and the lower salt Corn Flakes based products will be available from March 2010.
