The truth about our food

Find out about sugar and our cereals

Scientific studies show that if you’re looking to manage your weight then people who eat breakfast cereals, regardless of their sugar content, tend to be slimmer than those who don’t.

Sugar has been an important part of our diet for years as it is an important form of carbohydrate and a good source of energy, especially for the brain.

Did you know that a 30g bowl of Kellogg’s Frosties or Kellogg’s Coco Pops contains just two teaspoons of sugar - that’s less than you’d find in a glass of orange juice? Many of our products contain even less sugar than this - a 30g bowl of Kellogg’s Special K has less sugar than a banana.

To help you see exactly how much sugar is in each serving, we’ve clearly labelled the front of each pack. This will tell you what your daily sugar intake should be.
