Benefits of Manchester

In terms of the quality of life you can enjoy here, Manchester is second to none.

If you’re relocating from the south-east especially, you’ll find the property prices more than reasonable, even in the current housing boom.

Yes, there’s the odd million pound city centre penthouse. But at the same time there’s a great choice of contemporary apartments, solid Victorian semis and traditional family homes with a much more sensible price tag.

The rental market too offers scope and value in a great range of affordable properties.

Manchester offers something for everyone, whether it’s town or country you’re after. Manchester is both a major urban centre, but drive in any direction from the centre of Manchester and within an hour you’re in unspoilt countryside.

Something else that makes life in Manchester more relaxed is the commuting. While it’s a busy, prosperous city, the one hour plus journey to work is a rarity.

The Metrolink, Europe’s newest tram and street rail network is quick, clean and dependable (the Kelllogg’s Manchester offices are just 200 yards from Old Trafford Metro station).

Manchester’s two mainline stations offer easy routes to the whole of the UK. Ornate Victoria serves destinations to the north, the east and up to Scotland, while newly modernised Piccadilly on the west coast mainline is your starting point for trips to Wales, the south west, the south east and London (now just over two hours away).

Just over ten miles from the city centre, meanwhile, is Manchester Airport; the biggest and busiest of all the regional airports with direct flights to destinations all over the world.
